Bachoco USAis seeking a Sales Director in ourFort Smith, AR Corporate Headquarters.

Summary:The Director will be responsible for maintaining a base of customers in order to ensure sales of food service production and/or national production as well as other business sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manages customer base and brokers.
  • Conducts direct sales calls on medium to large volume accounts (outside a broker relationship).
  • Negotiates pricing/contracts with key customers.
  • Sets ad schedules with customers which includes both price and volumes.
  • Addresses accounts receivable, aged inventory, customer complaints, delivery issues, and other concerns as required during everyday business.
  • Coordinates Mix with plants, scheduler, and transportation.
  • Travels to maintain customer base and develop new business opportunities and attend industry trade conference.
  • Works with government agencies providing required qualifying documents and tasks.
  • Performs problem solving and problem prevention.
  • Thinks and acts independently with minimum supervision.
  • Balances profit and loss decision making.

Supervisory Responsibilities:This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and seven to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Inventory software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
