The Regional Multi-Unit Chain Inventory Support Analyst collaborates with Inside Sales Representatives, National and Regional Account Managers, Chain Customer Inventory Logistics Team, and Divisional Logistics Analysts on inventory levels and discontinued or replacement items to help efficiently and effectively drive GFS chain business. Creates and implements logistics plans that affect the distribution and inventory of products to further enhance product flow for chain customers.

  • Serves as an information resource to Inside Sales Representatives, National Account Coordinators, and National and Regional Account Managers on product related questions that include inventory levels, discontinued items, larger than anticipated customer orders and general product information.

  • Identifies and resolves chain inventory issues utilizing available resources (Late PO report, JDA, Forecast Performance, Product Acquisition).

  • Interacts with appropriate GFS departments to include Logistics, Traffic and Receiving to ensure proper inventory flow into GFS distribution centers.

  • Performs UPS reconciliation.

  • Recommends forecast adjustments to incorporate market intelligence and promotional movement.

  • Expedites inbound product to DC's and as outbound shipments to customers.

  • Reviews and follows up on PO receipts and late POs.

  • Communicates larger than anticipated customer orders to the appropriate logistics analyst

  • Collaborates with Logistics Analysts, customers and Chain Managers (National Account Managers) on product disposition

  • Adheres to the mission and cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Our ideal candidate will have:

Bachelor's degree OR in final year of supply chain management degree program; OR four or more years experience within the food industry, supply chain, or an equivalent. Experience with forecasting and replenishment software is preferred.

A proven capability to perform the essential functions of the job, including an equivalent, relevant combination of education, training and experience will be considered in lieu of the specified education and experience requirements.
