The Garden Segment is hiring an Associate Sales Operations Manager within the Lowe's Business Development Team, located in our Mooresville, NC office. This role will be responsible for supporting all Category programs and initiatives, data collection, sales analytics, forecasting, vendor compliance, inventory management, customer support, and in-house reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Director of Sales Operations with S&OP process, Vendor Compliance, and Forecasting; support in-house reporting
- Gather information, organize, and report on all aspects of Supplier Performance metrics including fill rates, on-time deliveries and vendor turn time
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting on team sales
- Gather, analyze, and report on category account sales data for weekly analysis and review
- Provide support for the implementation of new programs and initiatives; assist in gathering and analysis of data
- Track and communicate both promotional and seasonal issues, result on sales, and inventory levels both internally and externally
- Frequent communication with both internal and external customers to support data collection, issue resolution, and general customer service requests
- Anticipate and communicate issues affecting product support and ensure successful implementation of programs
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-4 years related business experience serving mass merchants such as Lowe's, The Home Depot, or Walmart, preferably in the lawn and garden industry
- Experience in and a strong understanding of seasonal categories and experience in an entrepreneurial environment
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Access
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Must be meticulous, analytical, self-motivated, and possess drive and initiative
- Able to analyze data, strong math skills, as well as learning new skills as needed
- Able to travel 10% - 15%
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Marketing/Business Administration or related field
- Experience with Alloy and SAP software preferred
- Syndigo experience a plus
- Space management software experience is a plus
