Summary: Clinical sleep educator to support providers in clinic.
Major Responsibilities:
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
License/Registration/Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providerscertification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA),
AND
Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) registration issued by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT), or
Registered Respiratory Therapist-Sleep Disorders Specialty (RRT-SDS) certification issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
AND
Certification in Clinical Sleep Health (CCSH) or meet the requirements to sit for the CCSH exam and pass within 90 days of hire date.
Issued by (Governing Body): BPRT (Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists)
Level of Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred OR Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited/approved program.
Field of Study (if applicable): Related
Years of Experience: 2 years of exp
Describe Type Experience: RPSGT with at least 2 years of experience working in sleep/sleep related area.
