JOB TITLE: Marketing Director, Global Therapy Innovations, Therapeutic Apheresis Growth Strategies

JOB SUMMARY

Strategic global enterprise leader to capture untapped potential to drive business growth, develop and drive execution of strategy and elevate market presence for the Global Therapy Innovations (GTI) Business Area. The role focuses on filling a growth pipeline considering the full continuum of care in disease states with high unmet need.

The function maintains a critical linkage and partnership with internal stakeholders including GTI leadership, regional sales and marketing, global strategy & market development, market access, medical & clinical affairs, governmental affairs, innovation & development, operations, finance, global services, regulatory affairs, and quality. The position engages with and manages needs of key external stakeholders including customer groups, industry associations, providers, patients, payers, policy makers, and regulators.

The position reports to the General Manager of Global Therapy Innovations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership and Strategy

  • Lead the vision, direction, and leadership to the Global Therapy Innovations Marketing team. Create energy and momentum within the team and with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the development and delivery for strategic planning, 4 P's management, and market research. Contribute to product/SW/service lifecycle management, developing and executing a digital strategy, capturing external opportunities through strong third-party relationships, identifying & implementing innovative business models, and translating all into more patients served.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive growth in both developed and emerging markets across the care continuum for therapeutic apheresis including disease-state focused commercial strategies, data management and services.
  • Drive and execute on market insights and future needs to inform strategy.
  • Map market needs with adjacencies and white space opportunities to inform roadmap with inorganic targets and partnerships.
  • Identify key data management needs and integrate digital solutions into the portfolio of products and services with an eye towards implementation of new business models and operating structures.
  • Drive insights and needs assessment for our customer's key stakeholders to increase access to and influence standards in the treatment of disease states with high unmet needs.
  • Contribute and provide input for the lifecycle management of the platforms and to the development of new products and services, driven by the Business Technology Leader.
  • Develop Go To Market plans including effective customer segmentation & targeting, value proposition & messaging, pricing guidelines, sales and distribution channels, sales tools - in collaboration with regional sales and marketing leaders.
  • Analyze metrics to constantly evaluate the effectiveness of the programs and initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve performance (from internal and customers' perspectives) and develop tactics and tools to monitor and communicate results.
  • Manage and develop cross-functional teams focusing on key competencies mapped to the success of overall business goals.
  • Lead financial and budget planning/forecasting, review, recommendations and tracking of key performance indicators.
  • Conduct business in a consistently high integrity fashion, 'walking the talk' and following the spirit, not just the letter, of rules and regulations. Embrace feedback at all levels.

Communication

  • Lead the story telling for the Therapeutic Apheresis goals to internal and external stakeholders, contribuiting to the broader Global Therapy Innovations mission and vision.
  • Drive understanding of customer needs/issues, market dynamics and competitive landscape in partnership with regional teams and communicate global trends.
  • Oversees projects of considerable complexity involving solutions to problems that affect the entire business and where errors in judgment and decision-making normally will result in failure to achieve goals critical to the maintenance and development of market share objectives, product marketability, and business profitability.
  • Effectively influence, collaborate, and communicate with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization, across functions and geographies, and with external business partners.
  • Build relationships with current and future external stakeholders providing high level targeted solutions for current and future development opportunities.
  • Maintain contacts involving significant responsibility with customers and other medical professionals, representatives of professional organizations with whom the business is affiliated, and professional/management levels within the business.
  • Evaluate communication, documentation programs, and support tools for effectiveness through customer and sales force feedback as well as objective research.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education

Knowledge necessary to perform in this position is generally acquired through a bachelor's degree in business administration or related field. MBA preferred.

Experience

Minimum of 12 years of management experience with specific focus on business strategy development, marketing and cross-functional leadership. Experience in disease/clinical marketing is preferred. Market access is a plus.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Approximately up to 30% travel to both domestic and international locations with extended work hours.

Target Pay Range:$199,100.00to$248,800.00 -Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:30.0%
