We are seeking a Policy Researcher. This is a full-time summer position best suited for a student who is interested in environmental science, toxicity testing and animal welfare. The primary purpose of this position is to advance the use, understanding, application of, and advocacy for in vitro science in toxicity and safety testing, drug development and basic "discovery" research. The term "in vitro science" includes, but is not limited to, computational toxicology, biomimetic systems, "organs on a chip," cellular 2D and 3D systems, and other methodologies that do not directly use living vertebrate animals. The selected individual will be a member of a dynamic cross-disciplinary team and will be expected to work effectively in a team environment.
