Acara Solutions is seeking a tenured C# Software Developer - WPF / .NET for a Buffalo-based client, a well branded manufacturing company in WNY. This is a Direct Hire / Full Time role and requested to be 100% onsite to manage projects with the engineering team. Salary range is $110+K depending on experience and education. Job Title: C# Software Developer - WPF / .NET

Compensation: $110+K (Based on experience and education)

Schedule: 40-Hour work week / Monday - Friday

Work Setting: 100% Onsite

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent / Direct Hire

Work Responsibilities "At-a-Glance"

  • Software development using C# / WPF / .NET for automated flexible cutting machines
  • Algorithms development using mathematical procedures and coding standards
  • GUI design, testing and validation, and user analysis
  • OOA / OOD software life-cycle to analyze and design applications
  • High-level design and low-level coding for software engineering projects
  • Support technical projects and work with the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering teams
  • Use latest technologies and tools to maximize the company's industrial competitiveness
  • Software development standards and processes, maintain continuous improvement, and testings
Job Requirements

Required Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • BS degree in Information Technology, Math, Engineering or Computer Science
  • 10 years' experience writing C# programs in WPF (MFC) environment and algorithms development
  • 10 years' designing and developing GUIs and Visual Studio
  • 10 years' years of writing multi-threaded applications, SDLC, and Agile methodology
  • Machine, Motion controls, or Robotics engineering background in a manufacturing setting

Preferred Skills, Experience and Education:

  • MS degree in Information Technology, Math, Engineering or Computer Science
  • CAD, AutoCAD, 2D drawing applications
