We are searching for a Chinese linguist with Mandarin dialect. This position is supporting Defense Intelligence Agency at Quantico, VA.

Linguists will work in a very fast-paced, fluid environment. This role may require working occassional nights or weekends. Linguists are required to perform a broad range of tasks, no just translation. This role will require regular use of Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat as well as a variety of customized tools and databases.

• Will be required to complete a CI Poly before employment.
• Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Level 3 (General Professional Proficiency) or above in both English and the target language. The client requires current test scores of ILR 3 or higher in reading, writing, listening, and speaking for both the target language and English.
• Specific experience performing written translation into English
• Deep regional expertise
• Moderate to advanced computer skills
• Successful Completion of Pre-Employment Background Investigation required

• Strong preference for candidates with a CI Poly, especially any who are DIA cleared #qinetiqclearedjob
• BA/BS highly desirable but not strictly required
• IC experience - CI/HUMINT preferred
• Strong communication and briefing skills
• Ability to work well both independently and on teams
