Primary Responsibilities

The Environmental Project Manager will be responsible for providing technical expertise for a variety of projects in the Transportation, Water, and Resources sectors. This position would provide leadership for Wyoming environmental projects and would play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality solutions for our clients across the Dakotas and Wyoming. We'll count on you to:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of environmental projects as part of our Dakota and Wyoming environmental team.
  • Provide hands-on mentoring and supervision, engage in team participation while championing a quality culture.
  • Stay up to date on evolving environmental regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across Wyoming.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Oversee project budgets and timelines while managing project risks.
  • Contribute to business development efforts for environmental services in Wyoming including writing proposals, scopes of work, budgets, and schedules.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Environment Science or closely related field
* 10 years experience in complex environmental planning/compliance projects
* Demonstrated knowledge of the NEPA process
* Experience managing large, complex NEPA documents for transportation, large facility, land management, or other infrastructure projects
* Technical expertise in the design, implementation, interpretation and presentation of data for environmental studies and investigations in specialized discipline
* Proficient with MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

* Demonstrated knowledge of NEPA and the environmental process is strongly preferred.

* Knowledge of data collection, interpretation, reduction, analysis, and presentation; Self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills. Strong conceptual, organizational, problem solving, and research. skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; Strong oral and written communication skills. ArcGIS or Arc Pro experience a plus

* Leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment.
