THE JOB:

As a Valet Assistant Manager, you will provide support to the Front Services Manager and Sr. Front Services Manager with direction and leadership for the team. You will own the execution of functional strategy and the operational direction of Parking and Valet. Ensure high customer satisfaction and an exceptional guest experience. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their time with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Departmental Rules and Procedures
    • Establish and maintain rules and procedures for staff.
  • Personnel Management
    • Manage interviewing, hiring, termination, payroll, and recruitment processes.
    • Oversee all personnel functions to ensure compliance with hotel standards.
  • Operational Oversight
    • Maintain high levels of service as expected by management.
    • Implement and maintain training programs for new and existing staff.
  • Staff Direction and Motivation
    • Direct and motivate staff to achieve excellence.
  • Productivity and Scheduling
    • Develop effective scheduling to ensure high productivity and optimal staffing levels.
  • Service Standards
    • Promote and maintain positive service standards across all areas of responsibility.
  • Technical Proficiency
    • Possess computer knowledge and skills, including proficiency in the Hotel system.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Education: Possesses a high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum Age:Must be at least21 years old.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience, preferably in valet services or parking management
  • Dependability:Demonstrated reliability in previous roles
  • Flexibility:Ability to adapt to varying schedules and job duties
  • Learning and Growth:A strong desire to acquire new skills and advance professionally.

THE SCHEDULE:

Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

This position will be assigned a split schedule between swing shift (3pm to 11pm) and grave shift (11pm to 7am).
