Qualifications

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you have...

  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Alternatively, a minimum of 8 years valuable technical professional experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience in systems administration and maintenance.
  • Experience in Microsoft manged mixed environments.
  • Experience in configuration of OS, applications, and user settings.
  • Proven ability in manually constructing physical systems.
  • Experience in configuring and troubleshooting layer 2nand 3 network devices.
  • Experience with applying STIGs across operating systems, applications, and network peripherals.
  • Savvy in resolving operating system and application issues.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, for effective collaboration with managers and technical staff.
  • Hold an active TS security clearance with SCI eligibility . If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
  • Hold, or can acquire within 6 months, a DoD 8140/8570 certification (Security +, CASP+, CCNP, or CCSP)

You 'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you have...

  • An Bachelor's or Master's Degree or Graduate Certificate in IT Systems Engineering or a related field.
  • Virtualization experience in VMware and analogous environments.
  • Skill in configuring managed switches.
  • Knowledge and experience with endpoint protection applications.
  • Solid grasp and experience with coding and automation.
  • Familiarity with DCID or ICD security requirements.
