Overview

Nakupuna Solutions is seeking a talented Logistics Analyst to support an Integrated Product Support team. This motivated, self-starter will be embedded within the acquisition and sustainment teams supporting life cycle logistics planning and execution. This team member will facilitate the execution of readiness initiatives, including reliability analysis, budgeting and planning, deliverable review, and other data analysis.

Responsibilities

    Collect, complete, organize, and interpret data relating to weapon/project acquisition and product programs.
  • Track program/project procurement status and schedules of expected delivery.
  • Apply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management.
  • Facilitate the execution of readiness initiatives, including reliability analysis, budgeting and planning, deliverable review, and data analysis that enable execution of strategy.
  • Apply analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
  • Analyze requirements, status, schedules, and funding availability for execution.
  • Review Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to evaluate impacts to operations and sustainment, including reliability, maintainability, and availability metrics. Assist in development of retrofit strategies.
  • Skillsets should include experience working with Ship Change Documents (SCDs), Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Certifications, Alteration Installation Teams (AITs), and Regional Maintenance & Modernization Coordination Office (RMMCO).
  • Review engineering documentation such as drawings, technical manuals, and field change bulletins.
  • Perform configuration management functions that utilize systems like Configuration Data Managers Database - Open Architecture (CDMD-OA).
  • Facilitate provisioning functions within the Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS).
  • Experience using the Planned Maintenance System (PMS).
  • Provide technical execution and tracking of various logistics elements for several systems.
  • Provide the Production IPT leads with recurring briefings on equipment delivery status, upcoming procurements, delays, and potential impacts to production or retrofit.
  • Provide insight into Reliability Control Boards (RCB) through data analysis and stakeholder engagement.
  • Refine Technical Requirement Documentation to facilitate appropriate logistics support allocations and ensure the infrastructure will support mission reliability, maintainability and availability thresholds.
  • Support the review and updates to Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP) for weapon systems, subsystems, support systems, and training equipment.
  • Assist in the preparation, scheduling and documentation of logistics meetings, modification review meetings, maintenance engineering logistics reviews, critical parts reviews, affordable readiness initiatives, logistics documentation reviews, logistics data calls, sustainment meetings and other-directed program meetings.
  • Analyze OEM-prepared support plans to ensure maintenance and logistics support requirements are adequately addressed.
  • Review Engineering Change Proposals to evaluate impacts to operations and sustainment, including reliability, maintainability, and availability metrics. Assist in development of retrofit strategies.
  • Engage Fleet Support Team (FST) to develop sustainment solutions to technical issues that arise across systems; review and evaluate technical documentation.
  • Evaluate funding requirements for a variety of sustainment initiatives; conduct business case analyses to recommend courses of action.
  • Keep Nakupuna leadership abreast of project execution, and any issues of potential impact to achievement of client requirements/deliverables or requirements exceeding defined scope of work.
Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills: A self-starter who is experienced in integrated product/logistics support and wants to make an extraordinary impact on warfighter sustainment. Candidate must be highly motivated, adaptable, and have exceptional written and oral communication skills. Candidate must have strong Microsoft Office skills.

Education and Experience: This position requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. The following are required and desired levels of experience:

  • Required: 4+ years of experience supporting integrated product/logistics efforts
  • Desired: Experience supporting IPS functions related to Acquisition
  • Desired: Experience supporting (directly or indirectly) NAVAIR
  • Desired: Strong data analytics capabilities

Military Installation Access: This position requires access to military installations. Must be U.S. Citizen and need to pass background investigation to qualify for and obtain a base access pass. Must be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
