Medical Assistant - Dermatology

MUST:

Experienced Medical Assistant
Must have 1 plus years of experience a Medical Assistant
Clinical experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience working a multi-physician practice
Experience handling high patient volume
Experience with in-office surgical procedures (preferred)
Experience scribing is highly preferred
Dermatology or Plastic Surgery experience (preferred)

DUTIES:

Triage patients
Provide clinical assistance including some transcription and scribe duties
Optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone
Assist with MOHs Surgical Procedures
Ensure availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records
Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information
Maintain business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level
Maintain operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
Other related tasks as needed
