Position: IAM Governance Analyst

Location: 100% REMOTE

Job Type: 6 months Contract - Possible extension

Hiring Manager Notes:

  • 100% remote. Need candidate from CST or EST time zone only.
  • Provide support in managing Identity Management platform is key. Skills identifying access discrepancies and remediate the issues is key for this role with SailPoint exp would be perfect.
  • Any Identity Governance tool would suffice. And exp gathering evidence for audits and making sure systems are compliant w/ company policy. Prefer NIST framework.
  • Bulk of role will be to assess the existing Access Reviews and identify the gaps, prepare a roadmap to remediate the gaps and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  • Prepare reports and artifacts for internal and external audits.
  • Primarily use SailPoint and Okta. SP is the primary tool for external users. Okta and ISAM are more so used for internal users
  • Not looking for expertise in a certain in general however SailPoint is preferred
  • Needs someone to access the disconnected systems, document the processes, and identify any risks that the processes have and come up with a roadmap as to how to fix/address this going forward so that no systems will disconnect.
  • SOD implementation exp is desirable. More of a Governance role than an Engineer role.
  • Identify risk of apps from an IAM standpoint. Will not be doing the technical work with connecting IAM.
  • Healthcare exp would be ideal but not required.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in managing Identity Management platform.
  • Assess the existing Access Reviews and identify the gaps.
  • Prepare a roadmap to remediate the gaps and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  • Prepare reports and artifacts for internal and external audits.
  • Identify access discrepancies and remediate the issues.
  • Manage Certificate Management
  • Validate the compliance and auditing technologies, as well as custom-built security and technology frameworks.
  • Capture actual results and supporting evidence, including recommendations for remediation.
  • Utilize a comprehensive understanding of corporate initiatives, to ensure compliance with organization goals and timelines.
  • Responsible for supporting audit and compliance requirements as they relate to identity and access management.
  • Responsible for auditing of access control validations and working closely with the risk and Compliance to ensure all areas of compliance are met.
  • Experience with metrics and data analysis and creating visualization reports.
  • General understanding of application services and their entitlement models, integration with IAM systems for access review automation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the IGA Framework.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement enhancements and streamline workflows.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as SailPoint, Cyberark, Entra preferred.

Qualification Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business, or Management or equivalent work experience required. 8+ years of IT and business experience in strategic process, development, implementation, and updates, preferably across multiple software platforms. Previous architecture experience in a dynamic high-technology environment is a key to success in this position.

Progressive broad-based information systems testing experience (which could include consulting) with state-of-the-art software systems is desirable; knowledge and implementation experience in new computing architectures and networked computing structures.
