Job Description

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or a qualifying substitution in an engineering, technical, business, or computer science/IT discipline
  • Ability to receive a Secret Clearance within 90 days of award
  • This position requires exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project
  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management cost and schedule performance and reporting
  • Ability to collect and produce project financial reports
  • Ability to collect data and produce Integrated Master Schedules
  • Experience in risk analysis and reporting, issue analysis, identification of risk escalation trigger points
  • Experience in conducting cost and schedule analysis

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Organization as they will assist the managers with keeping track of the pre-deployment process
  • Experience preparing procedure manuals to assist management

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducts organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist Management in operating more efficiently and effectively
  • Assists in the planning and administration of operational requirements such as projections and financials
  • Ensures overall quality and productivity are maintained within the program. Identifies and resolves operational issues
  • Provides information to evaluate program performance for adherence to established requirements
  • Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met
  • Provides information for the plan development including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for major portions of a program
  • Provides assistance to meet schedules or resolve complex customer requirements. Performs in-depth studies to determine optimum program plans
  • Prepares, plans, and reports program activity. Prepares and coordinates program plans, project schedules, specialized reports, and proposal documents
  • Serves as a liaison between the company and customers for program information. Anticipates and responds to customer needs and maintains an understanding of customer requirement
