Job Description

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Secret clearance
  • Eligible for TS/SCI clearance
  • Security+ certified
  • 4- 6 years of experience Linux and Windows
  • Knowledge or experience with IA testing tools and scripts. (ACAS or Nessus, STIG Viewer, WASSP)

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • A+, N+, Security + certification
  • Cisco and other network interconnectivity devices.
  • Experience with requirements analysis, development, and Agile Development.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience with Tactical C5ISR systems
  • Working knowledge of software version control systems, continuous integration tools, and their implementation (GIT, SVN, Maven, Jenkins)

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs SYSADMIN duties on assigned government-authorized systems
  • Assists security managers with developing ISS documentation (SSP, CMP, CP, RMP, etc.) to support the Assessment & Authorization (A&A) of assigned systems
  • Performs ISS controls assessments as part of the systems' Continuous Monitoring Plan
  • Oversees configuration management of assigned systems; utilizes a working knowledge of contemporary imaging solutions (Symantec Ghost, Macrium Reflect, etc) and Windows licensing implementations (MAK, KMS, TBA)
  • Performs periodic software inventory assessments; asset and media management support; formats and packages of audit logs and data in order to submit them for external review
  • Performs technical security assessments of computing environments to identify vulnerabilities and security control deficiencies; familiarity with ACAS or the equivalent Tenable products (Nessus, Security Center, etc) required to make these assessments
  • Assists security managers with developing POA&Ms, and remediating control deficiencies; assist with ISS Self Assessments when required
  • Applies system patches and manage vulnerabilities as required
  • Analyzes, designs, tests, documents, implements and supports DoD Systems and network technologies
  • Utilizes a working knowledge of Cisco Routers, applications, and technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Cisco VLANs, and IIS
  • Prepares and maintains up to date documentation detailing configuration of deployed solutions
  • Demonstrates proficiency with the design, provisioning and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN connectivity technologies
  • Builds test and staging environments that accurately mirror production environments
  • Evaluates new and emerging security threats, products and technologies
  • Understands Public Key Infrastructure and encryption
  • Develops and evaluates customer computing programs and operations to determine adherence to policies and procedures mandated by governing agencies
