Job Title: Cloud DevOps Engineer

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Overview: Precise is looking for a Precise is looking for a Cloud DevOps (Containerization) Engineer. We are currently looking for a Cloud DevOps (Containerization) Engineer to join our team. This Engineer will help our customers modernize their application and support a migration to AWS GovCloud. The Cloud Containerization Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and engineering solutions and DevOps to support the migration to AWS.

The position is remote and available to start immediately with a Public Trust Clearance. Successful candidates must qualify for a Public Trust clearance if they do not have one.

Requirements:

• 4 years of overall experience in development in DevOps with web application development, Java, PL/SQL and JSON.
• Overall knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)/ Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC) and agile development.
• Knowledge and familiarity of EMA ISO Identification of Medicinal Products (IDMP) data standards.
• Experience in application development, performance debugging, ad-hoc reports, data updates/clean-up and code list maintenance.
• Experience supporting workflow setup, configuration and edit check development; migration and production dictionary setup; and administration and patch deployments.
• Experience managing applications in commercial Cloud providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), GovCloud, or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience implementing containerized solutions based on COTS software.
• Experience with agile software design and development using functional approaches and concepts.
• Experience configuring and customizing Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) based software solutions.
• Ability to demonstrate logical analysis and creative problem-solving and collaborate in an enterprise team environment.
• Developing and managing container-based platforms (such as Docker or Kubernetes)
• Strong programming and scripting skills
• Developing solutions using Cloud services and Open-Source tools
• Delivering infrastructure as code
• Providing continuous monitoring and support
• Delivering solutions using Agile methodology
• Experience with Puppet, or Ansible in production environments (preferred)
