Harford Community College is seeking qualified Biology Adjunct Faculty to teach on-campus, evening Anatomy & Physiology I and II classes. These are 4-credit courses that meet during the Summer 2024 and Fall 2024 terms.

Biology Adjunct Faculty are expected to instruct a variety of biology topics and applications to a diverse student population. It is expected that faculty members integrate active learning components into lessons.

Employees of Harford Community College must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia. Work is generally performed on the College campus unless otherwise specified.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States, as the College does not offer Visa sponsorship for this position.

A Master's degree in biology or a closely-related field, with 18 graduate credit hours in biology, is required.

Prior experience with classroom technology.

Lab skills specific to the discipline.

Prior teaching experience preferred. Professional experience in the discipline a plus.
