Position Description
Redhorse Corporation has an immediate need for an Asset Manager. The successful candidate will have a background in building maintenance and operations. This is a full-time position based on the project deliverables to improve and maintain the Asset data quality in client's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Improve Maximo asset data quality by:
  • Working with Building Operations to achieve a high level of building Asset data quality
  • Working with Design, Construction and Building Operations to capture changes to the building Assets and Locations inventory
  • Working with Operations & Maintenance Contractors to optimize maintenance schedules
  • Working with CMMS Program Manager to develop an Asset Lifecycle Management program
  • Provide Technical Support and Administrative tasks to support the NCMMS Program Ex: Manage User Accounts
Minimum Requirements for Skills, Experience, Education and Credentials:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent related work experience.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Maximo experience preferred
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Willingness to pursue Asset Management Certification (CAMA, CMRT, CMRP, or similar)
  • Excellent communication and relationship management.
  • Ability to work with contractors on site.
  • Strong attention to detail - ability to detect anomalies in spreadsheets or database records
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks on time.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Ability to identify Asset and Location changes based on proposed construction project scope of work and communicate inventory scope requirements to the client Project Manager.
  • Ability to effectively communicate Asset and Location record requirements to a non-building operations audience.
  • Self-starter and quick learner. Candidates must have a track record of achieving assigned goals without direct supervision.
  • Technical and Reasoning Ability
  • Systems thinking: Ability to ask questions, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to effectively conduct and participate in remote meetings (Google Meet, Zoom)
  • Must be able to obtain pass GSA security screening.
Asset Manager Other Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
  • Physical ability to walk job sites in uneven terrain.
  • Provide personal transportation for meetings and facility site visits (reimbursed).
  • Attend meetings and perform tasks for long periods of time on a computer and on the telephone.
  • Ideally has experience with Google programs, such as Google Meets, Google Chat, Google Calendar, etc.
