PlayStation Studios is actively seeking a Player Health Program Manager to join our Live Service team, focusing on the strategic integration and oversight of player support and community programs. This critical role bridges the gap between player support and community engagement, ensuring cohesive and effective initiatives that promote player well-being across our live service game portfolio.

Reporting directly to the Director of Player Engagement, the Player Health Program Manager will collaborate extensively with both the Sr. Community Operations & Strategy Lead and the Sr. Player Support Operations & Strategy Lead. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of strategic planning, program management, and product ownership skills, with a dedicated focus on enhancing player experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive strategies for player support and community programs, aligning them with the broader objectives of the Player Health pillar and ensuring their effective execution across PlayStation Studios' live service titles.

  • Act as a product owner for player health tools and platforms, identifying requirements, spearheading development initiatives, and managing deployments to support player support and community engagement efforts.

  • Coordinate cross-functional projects to streamline player health initiatives, optimizing resource allocation and maximizing the impact of player support and community programs.

  • Analyze player feedback and engagement metrics, leveraging insights to continuously refine and evolve player support and community strategies, ensuring they meet the needs of our diverse player base.

  • Facilitate collaboration between the Community and Player Support teams, promoting knowledge sharing and the integration of best practices to enhance overall player health.

  • Maintain a dynamic roadmap of player health initiatives, prioritizing projects based on strategic value, player impact, and operational feasibility, while ensuring timely and effective delivery.

  • Champion player health within PlayStation Studios, advocating for player-centric initiatives and securing stakeholder support for strategic projects and tools.

  • Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in player health, community engagement, and support technologies, integrating innovative solutions to keep our programs at the forefront of the gaming experience.


Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in program or project management within the gaming industry, with a specific focus on player engagement, community management, or player support.

  • Strategic vision and the ability to operationalize insights from player data into effective player support and community programs.

  • Expertise in product management, with a proven track record of owning and delivering tools and platforms that enhance user experiences.

  • Strong analytical abilities to evaluate program performance, with proficiency in using metrics and feedback to guide strategic decisions and improvements.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering collaboration across teams and effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Comprehensive understanding of live service gaming dynamics, including player behavior, community engagement challenges, and support needs.

  • Leadership and innovation skills that drive team collaboration, encourage knowledge sharing, and inspire the development of creative solutions for player health.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role's base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$111,200$166,800 USD
