Overview:

Based in Northern, VA, Axiologic Solutions LLC has opportunities for you to become part of our high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key Federal clients. We are seeking an Information Technology (IT) Manager to support our government client. The candidate must have excellent written and oral communications. The candidate must be able to think critically, creatively, and strategically, have excellent judgment and be able to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

* IT Program Manager responsible for customer mission critical or mission essential applications as assigned by the government.

* Manage/ Lead the Task Order (TO) resources to drive the customer's development projects to closure, to include agile management, planning, coordination/collaboration, development, implementation, execution, and monitoring.

* Serve as the TO Lead (TOL) and therefore primary Contracting Officer Representative (COR) point of contact for TO status, coordination, staffing, performance, reporting, and direction.

* Serve as the TOL and therefore primary representative for Program Directorate to include business rhythms and deliverables.

* Manage Task Order personnel and their performance.

* Provides Subject Matter Expert (SME) planning, program/project management, development, requirements management services and acquisition support, integration and engineering services, systems security, information assurance engineering services, and services in portfolio management and process improvement.

* Leads a technical and management team of contractors working with government employees to deploy capabilities ahead of schedule and subsequent versions to users across the DoDIIS enterprise.

* Manages the software development lifecycle including requirements collection, system design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

* Responsible for daily company management, customer/stakeholder engagement. Provides regular leadership and executive level briefings, manages contracts, budgets, and schedules.

* Manages teams of developers, both prime and subcontractors in remote locations to ensure deliverables are met on time or ahead of schedule.

* Manages the acquisition management lifecycle processes, contracts, budgets, resources, with company management, CIO, and senior stakeholder engagement with emphasis on cost, performance, and schedule.

* Provides documented assessment, updates, guidance, and recommendations regarding data governance, roadmaps, processes, and data standards through proactive discovery, recurring ESITA engagement, and evaluation of current and future initiatives and capabilities.

* Assists mission stakeholders with planning for future data needs. in the preparation of reports to DIA leadership on progress with data efforts, with outreach efforts to industry, academic, and other government entities.

* Manages and supervises personnel involved in all aspects of project activity, organizes, and assigns responsibilities to subordinates and oversees the successful completion of all tasks.

  • Perform additional duties as the Task Order Lead.

Qualifications:

* Must have an active/current TS/SCI and must pass CI Poly.

* B.A. or B.S. degree required. Master's degree or advanced training in management consulting is preferred.

* Minimum of 12 years of experience, with at least 10 years of experience in management consulting (e.g., program/ project management for DoD and/or the IC).

* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.

* Working knowledge of MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Project (including EPM), SharePoint, Visio

* Excellent creative problem-solving skills.

* Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.

* Strong customer service orientation.

Desired Qualifications:

* DoD DAWIA level II or above and or PMP desired.

* Demonstrated understanding of the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution, System (PPBES)

* Documented experience supporting a Program Management Office for Acquisition Category (ACAT) I, ACAT II, or special interest Program of Record with combined value equal to or greater than the requirements for ACAT II designation in accordance with Department of Defense Instruction 5000.02.

* Working knowledge of MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Project (including EPM), SharePoint, Visio

* Proficiency in cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS, with demonstrated ability to track, manage, and optimize costs and budgets effectively.

* Extensive experience in agile software development methodologies, particularly in the context of a scaled agile framework, showcasing proficiency in facilitating collaboration, ensuring continuous delivery, and adapting to evolving requirements within large-scale projects.

Level of Organizational Responsibility:

* Primary duty consists of managing the work directly related to the management or general business operations of the organization.

Supervisory Responsibility:

* Customarily and regularly directs the work of full-time team members in support of client's projects and tasks.

Supervisor: ESITA Program Director

* Proceeds independently following general plans, policies, and purposes of the practice. Results of work are considered technically authoritative and accepted without significant change. Assignments reviewed for the alignment of project/program objectives.

Level of Supervision Required:

The supervisor sets the overall objectives and resources available. The employee plans and carries out the assignment resolves most conflicts, coordinates work with others and interprets policy on own initiative. The employee keeps the supervisor informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or far-reaching implications.

Travel Requirements:

* Travel will be required inside the Washington National Capital Region (NCR).

Work Environment:

* This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate within a team environment.

* Ability to type, sitting or standing, to complete work functions for hours at a time; ability to move between sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent basis.

* This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week on site, Monday through Friday, within the contract hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
