We are looking for a Digital Analytics Associate to join our team that has a track record of translating complex data into actional insights that drive conversions, improve the customer experience, and increase other key performance indicators (KPIs). This is a remote, Exempt full-time position. The salary for this position begins at $70,000 depending upon experience.
The eCommerce Analytics Associate role is an exciting opportunity to help influence the strategy and improve performance across marketing channels and initiatives. In this role, you will combine technical skill and data science with marketing acumen to help achieve the business goals. As a strong communicator with an analytical approach, the Digital Marketing Analytics Associate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders including Marketing, Customer Service, Engineering, and agency partners.
  • Develop and maintain reports and automated dashboards within data visualization platforms that provide key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends for stakeholders that are intuitive and self-serviceable, allowing stakeholders to monitor performance.
  • Support and partner with internal stakeholders across the organization to identify issues, uncover opportunities, and deliver actionable insights that drive value for the business.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and provide data-driven recommendations across ecommerce digital touchpoints including website, marketing, merchandising, CRM, and digital product that improve the user experience and increase performance across initiatives.
  • Utilize a variety of data to provide analysis and insights that inform the strategy, including website performance, sales data, customer segmentation, conversion rate optimization, lifetime value, acquisition, retention, merchandising, personalization, promotions, subscriptions, email, paid search, organic search, affiliate, and social media.
  • Implement a custom tagging and data layer strategy across digital platforms to enhance analytics measurement. Work with internal and external partners to QA implementation, site changes, new features. and data sources to ensure data points are accurately captured.
  • Craft and present compelling, easy to understand stories from complex data that help inform and influence stakeholders across the organization.
  • Serve as the point person for digital analytics, ecommerce data, and measurement tools. Stay up to date on latest trends and innovations in analytics strategies; evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools.
  • Take on any other responsibilities and tasks as assigned.
What You Need:
  • Experience working with web analytics platforms and reporting, preferably supporting eCommerce or retail organizations with a strong focus on digital marketing.
  • Experience implementing and working with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and tag management solutions (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Ensighten),
  • Strong communication and data storytelling skills; ability to translate and present complex data into easy to understand and compelling stories for stakeholders.
  • Strong dashboarding and data visualization experience; proficient with visualization and analysis tools such as DOMO, Tableau, PowerBI.
  • Proficient with Excel; SQL strongly preferred; knowledge of R a plus
  • Detail oriented, results driven self-starter who can work independently, within a team, and across internal and external partners to drive results.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing, attribution, media mix modeling, audience segmentation and cohort analysis, and personalization
  • Experience with testing solutions (e.g., VWO, Google Optimize, Optimizely) and behavioral analytics tools (e.g. Hotjar, Mouseflow, Crazyegg).
