We are currently seeking an Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst, Senior to support our Patuxent River, MD customer in PMA-281. The Acquisition Management Analyst will support the NAVMPS IPT Lead.

Functional Description: Supports and drafts program milestone related documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of the DoD and SECNAV 5000 series directives. Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR), Procurement Initiation Document (PID), Statement of Work (SOW), funding documents, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA) and preparation of Selected Acquisition Reports (SAR). Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements. Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, peer reviews, milestone decisions and review boards.

Essential duties include:

* Contracting Strategy

* Contracting SOW and CLIN Structure

* Conducting SOW and CLIN reviews with Level III IPTLs

* Scrubbing of CDRLs

* Acquisition Strategy

* Transition to ACAT-I or Software Acquisition Pathways

* Mentoring of CSS analysts and junior government personnel to improve their skills with regards to contracting, acquisition matters, technical evaluations of proposals, and financial management.

* Attend weekly contract meeting and financial reviews and provide input / feedback.

* Attend Level II and Level III Reviews and provide constructive feedback.

* Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.

* Collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.

* Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.

Required Experience: Senior - over 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.

Desired Experience: Previous experience with ACAT programs Research and Development experience.

Required Education: Senior - MA/MS degree.

Allowable Substitutions: The following substitutions are permitted for this task order: Bachelor's Degree plus 4 years additional work experience may be substituted for a Masters's Degree OR 6 years' additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
