Land Coordinator:

Lennar is seeking a Land Coordinator to support the Land Acquisitions and Development personnel in the administration of the entitlement and development processes within the Land Department.



Responsibilities

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to Executive leadership team on land department matters.
  • Send weekly Top 10 list to corporate.
  • Provide internal customer service.
  • Receive, distribute and file (hard copy and electronic) all documents for the department to include documentation for ongoing projects and properties under due diligence. Manager the Land Portal ATLland@lennar.com (contracts, amendments, vendor agreements, proposals, due diligence reports, etc.).
  • Keep black books updated (contracts & amendments, closing documents, HOA documents, ALTA surveys, agreement etc.).
  • Send out vendor packages and review for compliance before sending to accounting for corporate approval.
  • Coordinator with accounting in getting vendors approved and set up for ACH payment.
  • Compile and keep updated Due Diligence files for VP of Land.
  • Track due diligence - date or ordering report and receiving reports (white boards).
  • Organize and file all land department paperwork including invoices and proposals.
  • Update treasure request spreadsheets for the department needed by treasure as directed by VP's and land department managers (LOI's, Closing Funds, Bonds, County fees, etc.).
  • Establish and control land and development department filing systems to include plans and plats.
  • Assist in preparation of the Greenbooks (Lennar Corporate Approval process).


Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
  • Minimum 4 years' experience supporting land acquisition, land development and/or homebuilding
  • Valid Driver's license and good driving record required
  • Valid auto insurance coverage required
  • Computer expertise, including word-processing, spreadsheet analysis, project scheduling and data management software
  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must have excellent collaborative skills
  • Must exercise initiative and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
  • Must be detail-oriented and a problem-solver able to deal with complex situations.

Contacts

Daily communication with Management, Associates and other outside entities. External contacts where the matters discussed require some resourcefulness, patience and clarity.

Physical Requirements

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate computer keyboard, calculator and telephone equipment. May be required to operate a motor vehicle.
