Exciting Opportunity Alert! Staffmark is actively seeking to fill a brand new direct hire role for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic based in Williamsport, MD.


Salary: $60,320-$66,560 yearly


Shift Availability: 12-hour day shift and 12-hour overnight shift available


As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you will collaborate with various departments across the manufacturing environment to ensure the smooth operation of mechanical equipment. Your responsibilities will encompass maintenance, planning, and execution to minimize delays, costs, and equipment breakdowns.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Four years of relevant experience or training, or a comparable combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in fabrication and layout of special projects
  • Strong communication skills and reliability are a must
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Aptitude for gathering and recording information, executing tasks promptly, and problem-solving
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Adaptability to warehouse and factory environments, including exposure to various conditions
  • Flexibility for non-standard work hours
  • Capacity for repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Strong color differentiation and vision abilities
