Position summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for business development support, client interactions, and project execution to assist the growth and mentorship of the W/WW section.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Support Program Management contracts.
  • Develop Project Management Plans for assigned projects.
  • Establish project pricing and budgets.
  • Create and maintain project schedules.
  • Develop and maintain project specific quality plans.
  • Develop and coordinate project scopes.
  • Manage all technical resources on the project team.
  • Oversee and manage assigned staff (internal and subconsultants) working on projects.
  • Monitor budgets, schedules, manpower requirements, accounts receivable, and prepare invoices.
  • Coordinate and assist Section Heads, Office Leaders, and Practice Leaders with marketing proposals.
  • Participate in client presentations.
  • Develop extra work order requests and open-ended contract task proposals.

Additional Functions and Responsibilities related to Departmental Operations

  • Support and lead the development of JMT's field services and flow monitoring business.
  • Build relationships with clients, teaming partners, and sub-consultants.
  • Promote the JMT Brand with industry organizations.
  • Furnish technical leadership and consultation to senior and mid-level staff.
  • Support outreach strategies for marketing and recognition of JMT.
  • Plan/encourage industry participation and learning opportunities for junior staff.
  • Assist in development of succession plans.

Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Required Experience
  • CAPM, PMP and/or ENV-SP
  • Command of Primavera P6
  • Experience working with local clients at the county and state level.
  • Project management and business development experience.
  • Experience managing multidiscipline project teams.
  • Experience with multiple project delivery methods i.e. Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, P3, etc

Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.

Field work is required on occasions where it may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.
