We are seeking a Carpenter, Level 2, to help us with the construction, alteration, repair, or modification of items and structures on the JHU APL Campus. You'll be joining a team of hardworking construction specialists who improve the quality of the work environment from a structural perspective.
As a Carpenter, Level 2, you will...
You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you:
Performance of this job is in campus buildings or structures, including those which house laboratories and may handle special materials. Essential to the function of this job is the ability to climb/work off ladders and scaffolding, in confined spaces, and at heights (roofs, antennas, etc.), the ability to lift/carry 50 lbs., and the operation of APL vehicles and industrial equipment.
This job requires the use of safety shoes, safety glasses, respirators and other personal protective and safety equipment.
Work hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm or 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday with possible overtime as workload and deadlines will dictate.
