Overview

BigBear.ai is seeking an Enterprise Software Sales Executive to develop and manage relationships with enterprise customers to drive software sales and revenue.

This position will be based out of Chantilly, VA and can be performed fully remote.

What you will do

  • As the Enterprise Sales Executive you will be responsible for developing an enterprise sales strategy and executing initiatives for new business acquisition and expansions
  • Lead business development and sales in commercial enterprise accounts for BigBear's software portfolio
  • Perform market analysis and validate demand signals for AI Orchestration across commercial enterprises
  • Drive new sales in commercial enterprise accounts for BigBear's ConductorOS platform
  • Establish mult-level relationships within Commercial organizations including within the C-Suite as well as within Engineering and Finance departments
  • Negotiate terms of sales and agreements. Close sales with customers
  • Gather market, competitive and customer information to address customer needs and shape the go-to-market strategy
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve objections to get customers to a positive purchasing decision
  • Provide customer feedback to product management and engineering to inform product roadmaps
  • Advise management on successful pricing strategies based on your experience and customer feedback
  • Adept in understanding how to execute technical sales

What you need to have

  • Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance
  • Bachelors Degree or higher and 15 years of experience in technical business development and relationship management. Additional relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Successful track record fo sales utilizing a variety of sales techniques and strategies
  • Experience selling nascent software technology into enterprise customers
  • Prior professional experience negotiating with a large cloud hyperscalers
  • Executive presence able to concisely deliver complex messages to a business audience, and deliver clear messages to the C-Suite
  • Proven track record in enterprise business development and enterprise software sales within the technology sector, particularly at a software company or cloud vendor
  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of cloud computing, data/AI, and related technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets and business development goals.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of projects and initiatives.
  • Willing and able to travel to customer sites as needed
