Under general supervision of the Manager - Healing-Centered Violence Prevention & Response, the Staff Specialist - Healing-Centered Violence Prevention & Response will serve as a primary responder to schools experiencing crisis events and proactively plan for preventative measures aimed to reduce the frequency and severity of crisis events. They will be responsible for coordinating through community partners and related service providers intensive counseling to students who are impacted by crisis events, assisting them with postvention transition by providing strategic services that identify and address the social-emotional challenges that may interfere with the educational process. The Staff Specialist - Healing-Centered Violence Prevention & Response will serve as a leader in guiding school communities impacted by crisis events through healthy, holistic, and effective responses to these emergencies.
