We are currently seeking a highly skilled In-House Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team and provide expert guidance in contracts and compliance matters. As the In-House Counsel, you will play a critical role in providing strategic legal counsel, expert guidance on contracts, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will be responsible for navigating complex contractual intricacies, managing risks effectively, and aligning legal strategies with our overarching business objectives. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the formulation and review of company policies and procedures to optimize risk management and ensure compliance with applicable laws. Job Requirements: Is This You?

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school required.
  • Preferred active license to practice law in the state of Delaware.
  • Preferred experience in a legal role within a corporate setting and or experience as a litigator.
  • Preferred experience in corporate law, auto and liability insurance, contracts, and compliance.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive teams, customers, and vendors.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred 3-5 years' experience in the transportation and or logistics industry.
