POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides administrative support and data management, analytical and communications services for one or more Facilities Engineering Services. Works with engineers, technicians, mechanics, supervisors, managers, directors and Hospital staff as an integral component of the Engineering team that manages, develops and implements various Engineering service programs.

COMPETENCIES:

  1. Education:

  2. Knowledge:

Two years college or business school, or 4 years of equivalent experience

Requires level of knowledge in management organization/systems for engineering, maintenance, and/or healthcare administration

Familiarity with terminology relating to engineering and maintenance fields and governmental regulations and codes.

Functional knowledge of wide variety of computer applications (PC- and network-based), including Windows, departmental e-mail, word processing, database, spreadsheet, and engineering/maintenance management applications.

Requires proficient written and verbal English communication skills, at least on a high school graduate level.

Applies and integrates knowledge indicated herein.

Ability to solve problems and manage information indicated herein. Ability to use equipment indicated herein.

  2. Work Experience: Three years experience coordinating and implementing management systems in the field of engineering/maintenance management and/or healthcare administration.
