Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as Director, Surgical Services (Sentara Obici and Belleharbor)

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Position Location: This position is in person.

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years management experience required.
• Compact multi state RN license required.

Expectations for this Role:

Sentara Health is seeking Director, Surgical Services. This director will be report to the Vice President of Operations and be responsible for Sentara Obici and Belleharbour (OR, Ambulatory, procedure rooms, pre op., outpatient, central sterile). Limited travel would be required.

• Turnaround times for rooms and case cancelation rates.
• Leader development and team development.
• Provider relationships and improving engagement.

• Customer Focus.

This role will manage a team of 85 total staff within both divisions.
