Job Description

About the Role: We are looking for an Associate Relations & Investigation Partner to join our team. The Associate Relations/Investigation Partner will conduct investigations into associate relations concerns and support an overall positive workforce engagement. The role will provide guidance, support, and make recommendations to resolve associate relations concerns. This position is both hands-on and strategic to provide investigative and associate relations expertise.

This position will be located at ourfacility in either Flagstaff, Arizona, or Phoenix, Arizona, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver general HR program/policy development, administration and compliance
  • Use effective investigation, interviewing and summary tools and utilize the designated online case management tool for tracking and documentation
  • Work closely with the HR Ops & Associate Relations Leader to provide status updates on pending investigations and to support Gore Medical's Investigation Oversight Committee, as needed
  • Partner with employment law/compliance partners in conducting investigations
  • Partner with HR Leaders to provide counsel and facilitate prompt and effective resolution of workplace concerns
  • Collaborate with team to update and create HR policies and procedures that pertain to associate relations
  • Conduct trainings related to compliance requirements, policies and procedures
  • Analyze associate relations trends and help to develop proactive strategies, solutions, programs and policies
  • Develop effective relationships with business-facing HR team to promote positive associate relations and high levels of associate engagement

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences or HR strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years HR functional experience or equivalent demonstrated capability via experience
  • HR functional expertise in Generalist or Specialist role with 5 years of experience with workplace investigations
  • Experience with group facilitation and conflict resolution
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
  • Demonstrated ability to apply HR tools and processes that are developed in the Center
  • Ability to diagnose associate relations needs to root cause, draw conclusions and influence leaders to take proposed action
  • Experience with change management, team and individual performance management and associate development processes
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
