Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Flexi/PRN, 3rd Shift in Charlottesville, VA!

Cornell 3: Cornell 3 is a medical-surgical unit that cares for a diverse patient population with a specialty in post-op Bariatric Surgeries (Gastric Sleevesand Bypass), Abdominal Surgeries (Colon Resections, Ostomy Creation, plastic), Reconstructive Surgeries (Breast Reconstruction), Gyn Surgeries (Hysterectomyand Myomectomy), and Wound Care (Ostomy Careand Wound vacs). From our experienced team of providers, nurses and dietitians, we combine the resources of a major medical center with the compassionate, individualized care found in a community hospital. Cornell 3 has a 1 to 5 or 6 ratios depending on acuity and additional support from Resource Nurses, Patient care Technicians and their leadership team of Unit Coordinators and Nurse Managers.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma from an accredited Registered Nursing Program
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse License
• Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program.
• Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing License
• BLS Required within 90 days of hire.
