Job Description
MedStar Health is seeking a general Hematology/Oncology Physician to join their existing teams of experienced physicians at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital and MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center (an affiliate of MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute). Both of these cancer centers are accredited by American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to cancer patients. Practices are located in Baltimore the largest city in Maryland and a major hub for entertainment, art and cuisine. Baltimore also features a mix of urban and suburban communities and many highly rated opportunities for primary, secondary and higher education.

The MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute consists of eight hospitals operated by MedStar Health with the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center as its research base. The practices will focus on bread-and-butter hematology/oncology with treatment of a wide variety of cancers. The incoming physicians will be a part of the multi-disciplinary team of breast surgeons, thoracic surgeons, surgical oncologist, neurosurgeons, medical oncologists/hematologists, radiation oncologists, and genetic counselors to provide outstanding care to patients in the community. The dynamic candidates will also be given an opportunity to practice in a major community affiliate of an NCI designated comprehensive cancer center based on clinical care in a network.
