HDR is looking for a Digital Delivery Office Leader to join our Architecture practice in Raleigh, NC. On a day-to-day basis, this individual will be expected to:

  • Develop and oversee the production of architectural construction documents
  • Promote and connect users/local offices with training, educational, and communication resources
  • Train and mentor staff in detailing, planning production, and digital processing
  • Understand model health in office projects and provide guidance to attain a healthy level
  • Promote communications developed by Digital Practice Team and Regional Digital Leader.
  • Lead large project teams in project start-ups and the management of models and project deliverables
  • Assure compliance with project contract language, proposals, deliverables
  • Assist with consultant models and integration
  • Assist project leadership in aligning user skillsets with project requirements
  • Direct preparation of drawings by Technicians of lesser experience as needed, or have direct supervisory responsibility for staff
  • Work with clients or contractor representatives as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
  • A minimum of 10 years of architectural drafting experience on buildings/facilities
  • Requires extensive knowledge of BIM, design development, construction documents, technical and engineering knowledge
  • Ability to prepare drawings and details
  • Strong computer skills using Revit 3D Modeling, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to prepare drawings and details
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Healthcare, Science, Technology, and/or Civic facilities
  • Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
  • Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED
  • Preference is given to local candidates
