Are you a creative, passionate, and results-driven student interested in furthering your communications experience while bettering your community? AARP ND is seeking a driven and creative intern to assist in volunteer communications and engagement. This Bismarck-based internship will allow the student to participate in a broad range of activities and events focused on issues of importance to people 50-plus and their families in North Dakota, including fraud prevention, social security, community livability, retirement readiness, voter engagement, and advocacy. In addition, the intern will learn various web-based tools AARP uses to communicate with its members, volunteers, and others. This is a paid internship with an anticipated start date of Spring 2024 and an end date of December 2024.

Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA)
AARP observes Mondays and Fridays as telecommuting workdays, except for essential functions. Remote work and telecommuting can only be done within the United States and its territories.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly range is $18 for undergraduates, $21 for graduate students, $28 for Ph.D. candidates. Internships are non-exempt positions and are not eligible for employee benefits.
