ITS supports the Intelligence Community, Rapid Prototyping Facilities, Premier Commercial Customers, and related end users around the world.

We are excited to be recruiting for new talent to join our growing and innovative team - Junior AV Technician! This position supports our Government AV/Video Teleconferencing (VTC) production and installation department.

The responsibilities of this role may include:

  • Assisting with the permanent installation and mounting of equipment, such as. projectors, projection screens, monitors, speakers, and microphones, to ceilings and walls in secure spaces
  • Configuring AV equipment including Extron, Crestron, AMX, CISCO, ClearOne, and Biamp
  • Fabricating, terminating, and installing AV and IT cabling; RJ-45, DB-9, 3.5mm, and XLR
  • Configuring video conferencing solutions Polycom and CISCO
  • Testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of various AV systems
  • Assisting in troubleshooting and diagnosing existing AV systems
  • Working with cabling and equipment under tables, in equipment racks, on scaffolding, and ladders
  • Performing other related duties as assigned

To qualify for this position, you must possess a HS Diploma or equivalency and two (2) years of relevant work experience. An active DoD security clearance is required. Experience working with the Cisco or Tandberg Codecs; control systems (AMX, Extron and Crestron), digital audio and video signals, and analog audio signals (balanced and unbalanced) is strongly desired.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Operating knowledge of all MS Office products
  • Ability to follow basic flow diagrams
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Ability to travel to various CONUS and OCONUS locations as required
