Sentara Brock Cancer Center, part of Sentara Leigh Hospital, is hiring a Pet/CT Technician for a PRN/Flexi Day shift position in Norfolk, VA.

This position is both for the Brock Cancer Center and our Mobile unit. Our Mobile Pet/CT unit works within 6 different sites around the Hampton Roads area. This is an 8-hour shift position between 7am and 8pm or 2 separate 4 hour shifts per week. Mileage reimbursement is offered. Travel to our Mobile Unit site is required. There is a heavy focus on Reasearch and Oncology- both routine and specialty. There is a strong, diverse team in place and its a "great place to work!" -the Pet/CT team at the Cancer Center.

Pet/CT Tech's:

Under general supervision, performs Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Computed Tomography (CT) imaging procedures and related functions. Collaborates with leadership on technical issues, equipment performance, and quality assurance.

Requirements:

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT(N) registered or registry eligible required.
• Registry eligible graduates must obtain certification within 1 year of hire.
• ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) must be obtained within 2 years of hire.
• Must be able to travel to location as needed around the Hampton Roads area.

Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is a 250-bed acute care facility that opened in 1903 and relocated to its present site in 1977.
