A week in the life of a Computer Engineer:
- Analyze computer science, engineering, and other software engineering problems
- Perform software and hardware development, integration, and testing for aircraft avionics systems.
- Analyze commercially available, open source, government furnished and contractor furnished software.
- Use development tools to update tasks and stories, check-in, and version control
- Analyze architectural and functional requirements, specifications, and interfaces
- Develop and apply automated solutions to problems.
- Contribute to software specifications and designs for proposed solutions
- Works with the development team to understand new requirements to support mission objectives
- Perform software and system integration and testing functions
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is$85,000-110,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
