A week in the life of a Computer Engineer:

• Analyze computer science, engineering, and other software engineering problems
• Perform software and hardware development, integration, and testing for aircraft avionics systems.
• Analyze commercially available, open source, government furnished and contractor furnished software.
• Use development tools to update tasks and stories, check-in, and version control
• Analyze architectural and functional requirements, specifications, and interfaces
• Develop and apply automated solutions to problems.
• Contribute to software specifications and designs for proposed solutions
• Works with the development team to understand new requirements to support mission objectives
• Perform software and system integration and testing functions

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is$85,000-110,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related major.
• 2-4 years of computer engineering experience, performing software requirements analysis, software design, software coding, software integration and software testing.
