Athenix Cyber & SIGINT is seeking a Systems Engineer 5 in Annapolis Junction, MD with strong project management skills to provide the engineering and project management for a tool that provides cyber threat intelligence automation in support of Data Normalization & Automation. The successful candidate will be able to provide roadmaps and schedules, and support testing as needed for implementing software requirements. The individual will form good customer relationships and reach out to external customers for requirements and understanding of user requirements/needs. They will work as a SCRUM Master in an agile development environment.

Position Overview:

• Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
• Independently analyze and recommend alternatives for elements of project's technical design.
• Supervise or coordinate the work of other contractor engineers or technicians on a project.
• Analyze and propose appropriate engineering standards and processes for a project.
• Assist in conducting an evaluation to determine its suitability for project implementation.
• Assist in developing a new or innovative approach to a technical or engineering issue.

Minimum Requirements:

• Scrum Master experience and/or certification
• A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note
  2) from an accredited college or university plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience.

  A High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general systems engineering experience (any Process Area).

  A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience.

  A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required
