Athenix Cyber & SIGINT is seeking a Systems Engineer 1 to work in the in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The Systems Engineer 1 will perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of a work product in one of the technical process areas.

Position Summary:

Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables.

Minimum Requirements:

• One (1) year of experience as a System Engineer (SE) is required (OR) Twelve (12) credit hours o college coursework in (1) or more process areas may be experience may be substituted for the (1) year of systems engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. (OR) a HS Diploma and four (4) years of systems engineering experience (any process area) may be substituted for a BS Degree.
