About the Position

Our Lot Supervisors are an integral part of daily operations. Lot Supervisors are safety professionals who focus on attention to detail to ensure that our fleet is prepared for daily operations. If you have the drive, confidence, and determination to succeed, First Transit is looking for you!

  • Ensuring and monitor the lot in a safe and secure manner while vehicle exchanges are being made
  • Ensuring fleet is operational and prepared for proper roll-out at all times
  • Coordinating vehicle exchange and vehicle operator replacement as needed
  • Ensuring vehicles safety, secure, fueled and clean to assure time management
  • Monitoring service requirements to maximize on time performance and productivity for pull outs
  • Communicating through two-way radios and telephones
  • Opening and closing the facility as needed
  • Completing all daily reports required by operations manager/supervisor
  • Assigning vehicles and remind the operator to arrive their trip on the rangers
  • Getting all equipment needed ready and available to drivers as needed
  • Maintaining order and control of the gate and lot

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of Supervisory experience
  • Computer literacy with working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • The ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Excellent verbal, written and relational communication skills, with ability to appropriately interact with employees of all levels including drivers, customers, senior management, client representatives, union officials and general public
  • To demonstrate regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
