Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Marketing Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

* Coordinate with business development leaders, project managers, and other technical staff to prepare proposals, statements of qualifications, brochures, presentations, and other materials relating to business development.

* Lead proposal team meetings, review sessions, and interview preparation to develop strategic messaging

* Write and edit marketing proposal documents, as well as develop and coordinate graphics and layout

* Support client development teams with marketing activity planning, research, and data management

* Consistently maintain pursuit and project information in our customer relationship management (CRM) database, along with resumes, project descriptions, and photography

* Coordinate conference attendance or sponsorship and other events

* Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a marketing, communications, English, journalism, or closely related field - or a combination of education and relevant A/E industry experience.

* Minimum of 1 year of professional marketing experience.

* Ability to complete a proposal from initiation to delivery with minimal guidance.

* Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

* Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, including experience working cooperatively with diverse teams (department, regional, national, and project staff).

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to schedule and manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines, both independently and as part of a team.

* Quick self-starter, team-oriented, and able to work with different personalities and professional styles.

* An attitude and commitment to be an active participant of our employee-owned culture.

Preferred Qualifications

* Understanding of A/E industry is highly desirable.

* Experience in proposal planning and coordination for public and private clients.

* Experience with marketing strategy and document layout and production in a corporate environment.

* Strong design skills using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are a plus.

* Experience using Microsoft Teams as a collaboration tool.
