Description:

RIVA Solutions is seeking a Solutions Architect for our team to support a large IDIQ award with the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Establish bidirectional, collaborative communication within program team
• Adjust resource estimations based on team velocity and changes in product owner priorities
• Use resource estimates based on point-based systems and track progress via Agile metrics
• Develop potential technical solutions to meet business needs and supports analysis of alternatives for best fit
• Evaluate technical trends/make recommendations for technology and architecture to meet business objectives
• Research on emerging technologies to support proof-of-concept capabilities and identify future solutions

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree/higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field - Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree
• You should be innovative, collaborative, and passionate about the Agile method and new technologies
• Proven history of providing optimization of customer resources on performance and cost, to deliver robust, scalable solutions with minimal business impact
• Ability to provide leadership, management, and interpersonal communication skills inspire, lead, direct, and manage Agile team leaders and members and evangelize program capabilities to customer
• Create cost-effective, innovative solutions and designs for new implementations, as well as evangelizing program's capabilities and services to customer, while ensuring existing applications are reviewed periodically so that recommendations for improvement can be offered to customer
• Dev/Sec Ops Platforms/Asynchronous System Design
• Client Functional Requirements/Gathering
• Cloud Paradigms (IaaS/PaaS/FaaS/CaaS), Infrastructure, Security, Automation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working as an Enterprise Architect, Data Engineer, Manager of IT Infrastructure, Systems Administrator or Developer
