Key Role:
Monitor and audit company operations regularly to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations, including the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Clean Air Act (CAA), and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Maintain responsibility for analyzing the required environmental operation procedures used to ensure company and employee awareness and comprehension, including adherence to approved health, safety, and environmental practices. Apply expertise as a researcher and interpret federal, state, and local environmental and energy regulations, including pertinent agency guidance documents and orders.
Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with working in the environmental field as an environmental or energy consultant
-Experience with conducting regulatory researching and records reviews to support projects
-Experience with data management
-Experience with collecting subsurface soil and groundwater samples
-Knowledge of CERCLA and the phases a cleanup project undergoes during the process
-BS degree in Biology, Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Agricultural Engineering, Ecology, or Natural Resources Management
