JCAP-Configuration Manager I

Primary Location: Annapolis Junction, MD

Clearance Requirement: Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility

BTS Software Solutions is seeking Configuration Manager I who will be responsible for configuration management of developmental and operational systems at Annapolis Junction.

What You Will Do:

• Conducts configuration management planning.
• Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.
• Identifies and maintains the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, and related documentation.
• Responsible for configuration change control.
• Supports the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.
• Responsible for configuration status accounting.
• Tracks all problems and changes in product documents and software and reports changes and current configuration.
• Responsible for configuration audits.
• Supports audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met
• They identify and coordinate processes for version management, system build, backup and recovery, archiving, and change management to ensure the accreditation, integration and production support of JCAP in a classified environment.

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS and 0-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Typically, four years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
• A minimum of ten (10) years experience providing CM on Government Contracts.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
• Works under general supervision; typically reports to a team lead.
