Elwyn provides behavioral health services to improve the quality of life for individuals living with mental illness and addictions, serving over 7,000 individuals across 6 states. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Master's Level Clinician to join our ACT team in Georgetown, DE and provide life-changing support to individuals living with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI). In this fulfilling role, you'll play a vital role in empowering individuals to develop the tools and strategies they need to manage their symptoms, improve their well-being, and achieve their unique goals.

Negotiable salary and comprehensive benefits
Eligible for $2000 sign on bonus
Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm


What you'll do:

  • Individualized Care: Conduct comprehensive assessments, collaborate with clients to develop personalized action plans, and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to their specific needs.
  • Promoting Recovery: Utilize a person-centered approach that fosters hope, empowerment, and self-management skills, all while integrating the Prism Model for effective SPMI treatment.
  • Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and guidance during moments of crisis, ensuring client safety and de-escalation.
  • Building Relationships: Develop strong therapeutic relationships with clients built on trust, empathy, and respect.
  • Teamwork & Leadership: Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, share your expertise through clinical supervision (if applicable), and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Education & Advocacy: Educate clients and their families about mental health and empower them to advocate for their needs.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and concise clinical records that reflect client progress and adhere to all regulatory standards.


You're the ideal candidate if you possess:

  • A Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with individuals receiving behavioral health services, with a focus on SPMI populations preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and a comprehensive understanding of evidence-based interventions like CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) of Mental Disorders and its clinical application.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ethical practice and client-centered care.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to provide transportation as needed.
