Orano is seeking a Proposal Development Manager to support Orano TN. Under broad supervision, this position is responsible for the proposal development process and for coordinating and producing proposals (RFI, RFP, ITT) in response to client requests.

Provides technical consulting to proposal and sales team on strategic proposal developments targeted towards maintaining customer relationships and satisfaction. Tracks and records business development opportunities and coordinates with the business development and sales team to help execute opportunities identified. Develops and builds costing and pricing sheets through a superior knowledge of Excel in line with financial objectives. Their role involves ensuring that proposals meet company standards, client requirements, and are delivered within deadlines. As a Proposal Development Manager, you'll play a crucial role in the sales process by overseeing the creation and submission of business proposals.

1. Proposal Development:

  • Lead the development and delivery of business proposals.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, product management, finance, and other departments.
  • Initiate proposal kick-off meetings.
  • Oversee storyboarding sessions.
  • Manage the review and finalization process.

2. Content Management:

  • Own the proposal process for sales.
  • Coordinate and produce proposals (RFI, RFP, ITT).
  • Ensure timely completion of proposal timelines.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across departments for proposal content.
  • Maintain and update a Content Management System for proposal documentation.

3. Strategic Alignment:

  • Ensure proposals are compelling, compliant, and aligned with client needs.
  • Highlight the value of the company's products or services.
  • Implement best practices and automation tools to improve the proposal process.
  • Develops or assists in developing the business strategies to enhance relationships and sales revenue.
  • Provides technical consulting to customers through advanced knowledge of the front end and back end of the fuel cycle.

Ideal qualifications

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher-level position.

*BS in Engineering, Business, or other related degree plus 8-10 years of related experience, or comparable experience in lieu of degree. An advanced degree may subsitute for some related work experience.

1. Knowledge of department of energy processes and requirements.

2. Solid finance skills

3. Project Management background a plus

4. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

5. Strong technical writing skills.

6. Ability to develop complex pricing sheets through a superior knowledge of Excel

7. Ability to build and develop relationships internally and externally.

Please Note: The provided salary information is a guideline. Your offered salary is based upon experience, qualifications, geographic location, as well as market and business considerations.

Salary range annually: $130-180k
