Spalding Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Project/Cost Analyst in Patuxent River, MD. Position Type: Full-Time
Work Location: This is a hybrid position. (see onsite requirements below)

On-site Requirements: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Position may require occasional onsite support. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.

Essential Functions:

• Provides project and costing support for an IT Product Management Team.
• Gathers and verifies project data including software licensing, hosting, and labor requirements for the development of technical project costing models and customer pricing estimates.
• Works closely with project managers, subject matter experts, business relations personnel, and customers in day-to-day tasks.
• Uses business intelligence and work acceptance tools to extract project and cost data for analysis and reporting to leadership.
• Coordinates and facilitates status meetings with IT leads, compiling minutes and assigning/tracking action items to completion.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications and Experience:


Required:

• Experience providing project AND costing analysis/support required.
• Excel experience required
• Must be a team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to perform multiple tasks.

Desired:

• Experience creating pivot tables or similar reporting/data analysis tools highly desired.
• Experience working in a DOD software development or IT environment desired.

Security Clearance:
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Active Secret clearance desired, interim Secret acceptable to start. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:
BS/BA or AA/AS degree and 1 year related experience OR HS and 2 years related experience.
